Main Lounge
Formerly serving as a firehouse until 2000, this charming neighborhood wine bar finds its home within a historic 1910 building in Detroit’s Chadsey Condon neighborhood. The venue boasts a unique design that pays homage to its heritage. Original white crackle glazed brick walls, a green archway, schoolhouse fixtures and red line striping, set the tone for the color palette throughout the 6,800-square-foot space. At the heart of the space is a striking black stained reeded bar with a marble top. Above the bar, custom metal and glass shelving add a touch of modern elegance. Guests can unwind in a cozy lounge area, where plush seating and warm lighting create an inviting atmosphere. Additionally, wine enthusiasts can indulge in tasting experiences within a dedicated tasting room, complete with a 14-foot salvaged wood table with custom metal base. An adjoining wine shop conveniently connects the main lounge to the tasting room. For those seeking outdoor enjoyment, the second-floor patio offers a delightful retreat. Here, a 39-foot black and white striped banquette and locally crafted terrazzo tables provide a stylish and comfortable setting. This renovation project was successfully completed in January 2022, breathing new life into this historic firehouse, now transformed into a vibrant wine bar for the community to enjoy.
